Hurting Hearts Need a Light

Digital version to be released soon on Amazon and other outlets. Print version coming soon after. Book trailer here

I put my previous work-in-progress on hold for a few months after I felt led to write this inspirational booklet, Hurting Hearts Need a Light. It’s to offer hope and encouragement to those who might feel as though the light went out at the end of their tunnel, and they don’t know what their purpose is in life.

The verse that inspired me to write Hurting Hearts Need a Light was Nehemiah 4:11, “Our enemies said, they will not know or see until we come among them, kill them, and put a stop to their work” (NASB). Well, you can imagine that this ruffled my feathers a bit. Nehemiah’s enemies tried to prevent them from rebuilding a wall around Jerusalem. This passage, written long ago, demonstrates how our enemies work even today. They are relentless in trying to stop God’s work from being done.

Society strives to erase Jesus from the public domain. They are in our schools, colleges, in some of our religious congregations, and our political arena. Evidently, society hasn’t read how the story ends because if they had they would know that they will never be able to erase Jesus from the heart’s of His children because Jesus lives!

We are all born for a purpose. What is your purpose? May you discover it in Hurting Hearts Need a Light.

~Blessings
